The interface is a replica from iOS app, and it works flawlessly.

Nice application. I have only one problem with it: music playback wont restart automatically after the Internet connection breakdown and requires manual interference (click "stop" and then "play"). Hope, it is easy to fix.

Finally, app for Soma.fm is here! Before this app i used online radio on iTunes, but having a separate app is much better. Program works great. The only issue: apps logo is so ugly, it spoils my Dock :(

But app laks some clear design and refactoring. For example it’s very easy now to delete favorite song instead of buying it. Please fix!

Best radio on Internet

Great app, limited chanels, but no 30 second commercials completly makes up for it.

So glad to find out that SomaFM has a Mac app. I bought the iOS app a few months ago and use it constantly. I’ve been a devout Drone Zone devotee for the past twelve years. This Mac app will make iTunes completely irrelevant to me.

Ive listened to Soma religiously the past 5 years. Its changed my views and taste on music and I cant imagine living with out it. I was delighted to see an app and gave it a download. Im running Lion on the most recent macbook pro and have troubles with the app beachballing, freezing, or the play/pause button freezing in place. I suspect this happens when the network connection goes bad. Anyway I think the app may need some bugs ironed out. Im going back to my SomaFM playlist Ive created in iTunes.

I always liked listening to soma.fm on my work machine, but it was always such a chore to find them in iTunes radio listing, and if I downloaded the .pls files from the website my iTunes Library would be littered with them after a month. This app makes finding the station you want easy and its just a single click away to listen. The app presents the playlists right in the now playing window making it easy to see what is playing and what has played recently with links to purchase the songs in iTunes. The app also offers some great new options like being able to favorite stations or even songs making things even easier to find. Thanks, soma.fm, for making my workday a little more bearable and my listening experience that much better.

Nice for listening to the many stations of Soma FM, but need to be able to minimize and full-screen the app.

Great app. Love having the list of songs and the ability to favorite them. This app combined with Airfoil and my whole house is chilling to the groove of groove salad. Dont be cheap get Airfoil and jam this through your pad. Good stuff.

I have been listening SOMA since my Windows OS times in early 2000s. I have been using its iPhone app, now this. To me, $4 I pay for the app is the least I can do to support this listening supported free online radio station. It is a lot easier to connect to SOMA with this app then browse through a browser. Thanks SOMA for the great music. Keep up the good work….

Ima let you finish, but I just wanna say that SomaFM is the BEST INTERNET RADIO STATION OF ALL TIME. For reals. :) Im a fan, Im a donor, and Im thrilled to have native apps. This one does just what it says on the tin. Thanks to the devs for another great way to listen to my favorite stations.

Love, love, love Drone Zone on Soma.FM! I am a regular monthly contributor and to be able to use this app to access Soma.FM is fabulous! Yes, if Airplay ability could be added to the features, that would be a bonus. I do have the Soma.FM iTunes app on my iPod Touch, so if Airplay can not be added to this app, its cool! And, yes, the quality of the sound is better, playing from this app, than from iTunes. So.. double excellent! Thanks so much for a great way to listen to my favorite Internet radio station. (Rusty and everyone, there at Soma.FM, hope you have a super year!)

Love the tunes, love the music quality, and ease of use! One of my favorite apps for a really good price.

When I use the Dock icon to choose next favorite, the header of the player window is not being updated. This can be confusing. Otherwise great way to support SomaFM! Thanks! Edit: Had to downgrade it one star more, because it keeps crashing on me. Scenario: App is open, but on Pause when putting Macbook to sleep. Then leaving to office, different network environment. 1st problem: App starts playing automatically (deactivating the Pause). 2nd problem: When one now goes to the app window and clicks on another channel it crashes. (I guess it caches somehow the way it would connect to other channels, and when I changed the network environment, the cache becomes dirty and theres no check for that? Edit: Upgrade to 5 stars for repairing both issues i reported in the new version! (Yes, loss of list of favourites was not so nice, but come on, a few little clicks and its back.) Edit: One star down for remaining bug: Change of network connection unsets the pause flag. Meaning: When the program is on pause and im connected per Ethernet, then remove the Ethernet connection, the Macbook reconnects via WiFi, which is when the application starts to stream again, giving me a heart-attach along the way.. ;)

Ive been a SOMA listener since my first iPhone (2G). I have loved every minute. I thought this app was a little expensive, considering I missed a freebie by a day. But Im happy to support with the fee, if thats what it takes to keep this great listening experience.
